Constantin Georges Macris was born in 1919 in Cairo, he died in 1984.
He had Greek parents. After a tuition at the Munich academy he had regular exhibitions in Cairo and after 1948 in Paris. He also received art education in the studio of Fernand Léger in Paris.
Macris was since the early fifties an independent artist.
He produced abstract works with coloured areas superimposed on each other resembling murals. His compositions are free, with controlled use of colour composed.
